‘Pensive’ explores the tension between form and emotion. The fragmented figure though geometric sharp defining lines contrast with the subtle, soft pastel tones. The moment of reflection and introspection interrupted by the constraints of structure. The balance of our inner world and the external societal pressures and environment.
