I’m a Brisbane based artist creating bold, structured artworks that explore the vibrant tension between emotion, geometry, and space. Raised under the wide horizons and open skies of rural Queensland, I’ve always been drawn to contrast, clean architectural lines, and the dynamic rhythms of the human form.
Precision and Transition
My path to full time studio practice wasn’t standard, but it deeply informs everything I paint. For ten years, I worked as a theatre nurse in a Brisbane trauma hospital, a decade that sharpened my eye for precision and gave me a profound reverence for human vulnerability and resilience.
Following a pivotal turning point in late 2024 while recovering from a traumatic brain injury, I made the clear choice to redirect that focus entirely into my art. Today, that heightened sense of care, discipline, and presence flows directly into my work.
The Interplay of Control
At its heart, my practice is about building harmony, and then daring to disrupt it. I construct balanced, deliberate compositions only to introduce subtle mismatches in line or form while keeping my classic mid century modern style and palette.
Designed with modern spaces in mind, each piece blends architectural rigour with emotive warmth. Whether anchoring a private collection or enriching a curated design project, my intent is always the same, to create enduring, striking work that brings energy, connection and balance to your space.
